THE IMAGINARY INVALID

Roundabout Theatre Company
Through Nov. 22

It’s back. That farce by Moliere, The Imaginary Invalid now finds a new voice through Bill Irwin’s adaptation. Known as a brilliant actor who started as a new vaudevillian Irwin can masterfully transform himself from clown to tragic actor.

In this case, he is both the adapter and performer. Directed by Brandon J. Dirden it features a top notch cast including the likes of Brooks Ashmanskas, Dylan Bake, Rachel Bloom and more.

This comedy about greed, hypochondria and marital machinations promises a night to remember at the theater.
