Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP)

In the midst of a tumultuous year, presenters, producers, artists and thought leaders will gather to gauge the future of our global landscape. Come January 9 – 13, NYC will be flooded with performances, both ticketed and free, professional workshops, seminars, plenaries, receptions and camaraderie during the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) convention.

There will be much to talk about, much to discuss, deals to be made and plans set for the upcoming year. Although the programs balloon throughout the city, The Hilton Hotel remains home base, where the artists’ expos proudly feature their offerings on two floors of the hotel.

Led by Lisa Richards Toney, this year’s opening plenary centers “From Scarcity to Abundance: Unleashing the Power of Place for Collective Renewal”.

The closing Plenary spotlights spoken artist and activist Marc Bamuthi Joseph.

It’s worth considering joining this impressive organization either as a supporter of the arts or as a working arts professional.
