REGINE ASTIER

Regine Astier, a singular authority on 18th century dance and history appeared on EYE ON DANCE in 1985 to clarify the rich social and aesthetic elements of Baroque dance. Joined by Wendy Hilton, who also recreated Baroque dancers (1931-2001), Astier regails host Celia Ipiotis with historical tidbits and insights into the passion and politics invested in Baroque Dance.
