Get out of the chill and step into the warmth of the New York City Ballet. The Winter Season trumpets a world premier by Resident Choreographer Justin Peck to a commissioned socre by Dan Deacon who will perform live with the NYCB Orchestra. Jan. 29

A look at the past brings a new staging of a Suite of Dance from Paquita by Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky. Feb. 6.
A bold dancer who commanded the audiences complete attention and Maria Tallchief, America’s first indigenous prima ballerina (Principal dancer with NYCB) representing the Osage Tribe with her grand precision and technical precision will receive a Centennial Tribute to her legendary life.

Some favorites join the ranks, including Christopher Wheeldon’s Carnival of the Animals featuring the delightful actor John Lithgow in the role of the narrator.
Drawing the season to a conclusion will be Peter Martin’s full-length Swan Lake.

Additionally, weeks will be spotted with much loved works by Balanchine and Robbins.
