We’re coming to the end of the “Awards Season” and before the nationally broadcast Tony Awards claim their champions, the Drama Desk Committee announced their selected Broadway and Off-Braodway productions.

Notice how many Broadway productions got their star in an Off-Broadway house. It’s an impressive testament to the creative riches piped through the primarily non-profit theater sector.
