Classics and new works stud ABT’s summer season at the Met Opera House.
John Cranko’s evening length work, Onegin, returns the first week. Set to music by Tchaikovsky, Onegin is based on the verse novel by Alexander Pushkin about love and power featuring debuts by a number of dancers including Devon Teuscher, Daniel Camargo and Jake Roxander.

The second week features the New York Premiere of Wayne McGregor’s Woolf Works spotlighting the remarkable actor-dancer Alessandra Ferri alongside Herman Cornejo. The ballet re-creates the emotions, themes, and fluid style of three of Virginia Woolf’s novels: Mrs. Dalloway, Orlando, and The Waves.
Additional ballets include the much loved Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake, and LIke Water for Chocolate.
