Kenny Leon returns to Broadway directing Samm-Art Williams’ new play Home featuring Tory Kittles, Brittany Inge and Stori Ayers.
Originally staged by the Negro Ensemble Company in 1979 and featured in the first year of Roundabout’s Refocus Project, the under-produced work of Samm-Art Williams’ is revived. Centered on Cephus, a Black farmer from North Carolina, Home is a coming-of-age story that gives voice to the unbreakable spirit of all Americans who have been searching for a place to belong.
Opening June 5, the Home runs through July 21 at the Todd Haimes Theatre.
