If you are fan of New York wines, head to the Red Hook WInery for tastings of Finger Lake and Long Island wines. The two men responsible for tastings are Robert Foley and Abe Schoener. Because the bottles can run around $30 per bottle — like the 2010 Vipolze SK Reserve — tasting before purchasing is recommended.
