Jan 2, 2023Launched in 1981, a time when television dominated the electronic media, EYE ON DANCE began interviewing dancers on a multitude of topics and airing them weekly on PBS to hundreds of thousands of households. in 1986, EYE ON DANCE prepared a one hour special to celebrate the first 200 programs produced embracing everything from ancient forms to ballet, modern dance social dance, to tap and hip hop.
March 28 at 4pm, the one-hour EYE ON DANCE 200TH PROGRAM ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL will premiere on Dance Enthusiast followed by a conversation with Celia Ipiotis (EOD creator), Christine Jowers, Francesca Harper, Sean Curran and Mercedes Ellington. Everyone’s welcome.
